I'm not surprised by this report as I always thought he was running it like a broken rodeo horse. It needs TLC, not massive change.

Monthly U.S. ad revenue at social media platform X has declined at least 55% year-over-year each month since billionaire Elon Musk bought the company formerly known as Twitter in October 2022, according to third-party data provided to Reuters.

I've always thought he's a visionary, however, he would make things a far greater success if he had a senior businessman heading up the direction of his efforts.

If his goal was to eliminate Twitter--a position I have seen seriously defended--he’s doing quite well.

I have noticed that the majority of the posts on X are, how shall I say, not friendly. Also, myself along with several friends of mine, keep getting shadow banned or locked out for no apparent reasons, at least from what I have read in their rules. In fact, my account was locked yesterday and I have no clue why. I never post anything hateful, offensive or violates any obvious rules. That said, many people I know are abandoning the platform or rarely engaging not knowing what Musk might take offense at. It has become very frustrating and, ultimately a waste of time dealing with the BS. I can only assume that advertisers are too becoming frustrated with what has become a limited diverse audience.
