End of the Free Twitter API From February 9, 2023

Twitter has said it's ending support for the Free Twitter API, for V1.1 and V2. and introducing a paid "basic tier." There was no indication of costs, so it sounds as if it's working on it as we speak.

Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead

It seems there has been some rolling back going on at Musk HQ following feedback. Those pesky bot are not all bad, as we know, and Elon Musk says there will be a "light" version. That's a good thing, imho.
