Report: Musk Plans for Twitter to Become a Payments Platform

According to reports, Elon Musk has plans to add payments facilities to Twitter.

Musk wants Twitter's users to be able to buy stuff on Twitter, but also to send money to each other. Despite Musk's self-professed love of cryptocurrency, the system will primarily be based on fiat payments, though crypto functionality could be added at a later stage.

Not too sure if that was not a feature already active for US Accounts.
He should know that twitter is much more active in India, He follows Instagram which has advanced in that direction. Those social networks suffer from the lack of fiancial infrastructure in the 3rd World I guess.
