The company was recently reported to be working on a “Paywalled Video” feature that would allow creators to charge for access to their content.

Elon seems to really want to create the "everything app" and keeps drawing comparisons with WeeChat. With that kind of statement, I think it's only a matter of time before a payment system of some kind is implemented. It would be central to future products being added.

If you create content and have a paywalled channel it would help you get paid, and allow people to donate to your efforts with a monthly paid sub according to the current paperwork.
