Twitter Says It's Working on an Edit Feature

The long requested ability to edit a tweet looks like it's getting nearer.

Twitter has said it's been working on an edit feature for some time, and it'll begin testing within TwitterBlue labs in the coming months.

Edit in a time frame makes sense. Edit to revise history is something else. Have to see what is actually offered!

Twitter had an edit button, it's called delete and re-post.

If you wait too long to do it stuff(timeslines, article mentions etc) breaks, as it should. Do it quickly enough and there's no harm.

Twitter is unleashing a "Current Tweet vs Unmentioned tweet vs Edited tweet" nightmare. Not only will it become harder to follow but in some cases people might get pressured to revise and edit old stuff. I wonder who is changing tweets right now in their trial group.
