After much criticism, twitter has published details of new transparency for ads on the network.
There will be a new Transparency Center aimed at showing all ads, including promoted-only ads, how long the ads have been running, the ad creative associated with the campaigns, and ads targeted at users, including personalized information. There will also be a special electioneering ads section.
There will also be more ways to react to the ads with feedback to twitter.
This is rolling out in the US in the coming weeks, and will follow globally in due course.
