Twitter's jack Dorsey reaches out and asks what you'd like to see twitter change for 2017.

[twitter.com...]

Some of the suggestions are rather good, and they include tweet editing, and better reporting.

I've always found it's difficult to find messages again, so improved search, or bookmarking would help.

What's yours?

Tweet editing (as mentioned) would be first on my list. Not sure how that would work though.

Another idea is better responsive Twitter cards. Currently we have two hard coded choices that are somewhat responsive. I'd like to see one code version that's absolute responsive to viewer screen size.

Snowden's suggestion for end-to-end encrypted DMs would go a long way to make Twitter a trusted communication medium.

I would definitely want to flag or bookmark individual tweets.

I'd like to see a return to hands off the tweets (politics).

A categorical block on tweeting from the toilet.

Yes, improved search and bookmarking would help a lot. Private bookmarking and public liking need to be distinct.

In general, I find that while the flood of unordered information might be one of Twitter's charms for some users (and Twitter might believe that's why regular users come back regularly), I feel that the quantity and chaos are also why many users give up on the site.

Lists could be turned into a major feature on Twitter, as a way of dealing with the flood... but they're currently awkward to use. Categories currently can't be alphabetized or otherwise ordered, classified into groups, etc. There's also no easy way in Lists to isolate individuals for quick navigation to posters' profile pages.

Another vote also for private direct messaging. Overall, more ability to separate public and private would be helpful.

An easy and effective way to turn off

You Might Like
While You Were Away
Who to Follow
etc.

I understand there's some setting for at least part of that, but it hasn't worked for me.

So I load Twitter, and immediately reload the page until that junk disappears. PITA

I got very confused when I first found stuff over a day old turning up above recent tweets. These days I view everything through my lists.
