Has Twitter screwed up and actually started to get rid of spammers?

I have this Twitter keyword widget installed on my site and this one guy with a radio station was a really chronic spammer, I complained to them about him about a year ago.

But the past few weeks it looks like he's finally been kicked off (or gone into hibernation for some reason).

Meanwhile, I have taken my BP meds before going back into the wilds of Twitter.

It's quite possible enough complaints were made for the account to be shut down, but, it's more likely they have just gone on holiday from trolling.
