Twitter "says" I'm getting clicks on my ad link but I can't find them

Having a hard time finding visitors from Twitter ads in my analytics, wonder if they are being reported as "direct traffic"? Anyone else come across this?

Yes. Since posting I have seen some t.co referrals come through but nowhere near what is reported as link clicks. Also, and my bad, I did not set any variables to track what comes from the ads and what comes from the normal tweets.

You could also take a look in your server's log files - which will tell you requests (regardless of adblockers etc.) although not necessarily 'real' visitors.
