Hello, I want to know how to increase twitter followers in a valid way. I don't know the right way. I tried to get followers by exchanging sites. But it is not so much effective. I can't get share, favorite or comment so much. Is there anyone who can give me right instructions?

I found the most success of gaining new followers on twitter was not through any shortcuts or quick fixes but the long drawn out slow way. Every single person that followed me i would write a personal tweet back (mentioning them), thanking them and showing appreciation for the follow. At first it was just people following me back who i had followed but soon because their followers saw those tweets, they started following me as well. Think about it, if someone goes out their their way to send you a personal message and mention you and you only without ten other people in that same tweet, they are going to favorite it and possibly retweet it. Its brings up exposure to your name. People want to follow people who are genuinely grateful about it. Its just idea, but something you can try for a month and see what happens. Keep us updated, i want to know if you had the same success i did

This is what I do, I make sure to update daily, like a natural tweet.
And then use the most appropriate hashtag for it.
Then, I search for hashtags or keywords relevant to my interests.
If I see people with the same interests I look into their profile and see how active they are on twitter.
Then I look how much following and followers they have.
If I see that the no. of following is greater than the no. of their followers, I follow it.
Why? Because those are the ones who are most likely to give you a follow back.

Become Elvis or Madonna (joking!)

Build your audience by being there every day, good content/fun, and following others who will shed a little of their glory on you. This takes time, of course. And even then, there's no guarantee that you'll ever grow a following.

Welcome to WW, techtricks, but do know that (regardless of your moniker) there are no tech tricks to gain traction on twitter. Also, the tweet verse is becoming increasingly polarized and politicized and you might not actually want to play there in the near future. Secondary, twitter is losing market share (stock market) and is either flat, or declining in membership in the face of other venues who have not embraced twitter's recent censorship and "political correctness".

Twitter still has value but the original "fresh and new" aspect is long gone. These days Twitter is going through some changes (some social, some political) that have impacted the brand/experience. Play the game, of course, just manage your expectations AND YOUR TIME. Time is something you can't get back.

I am building followers slowly and steadily but none seem to be from what I originally considered to be my target audience.

Just keep your profile active and up-to-date, a little "trick" is to provide a unique opinion or a witty tweet on trending topics!
