Following on from Jack Dorsey's re-appointment as CEO, twitter just announced the arrival of a senior Google executive to the team, Omid Kordestani.

With the arrival of Kordestani, this should really help twitter get a better grip on the future, imho.

Kordestani's extensive sales experience at Google would prove a good foil for Dorsey's product knowledge, analysts said.
