Hi

I have finally followed your advice and placed share42 in some of my pages. Next, I ran Google PageSpeed Insights, which brought up share42 as a render-blocking JavaScript. So, I moved it to the bottom of the page just before </body> and linking to an external file.

But PageSpeed continues to flag it as render-blocking. Now, I am wondering if there is somehting in the share42 script that forces it to be loaded immediately, even if there are instructions to defer it.

Quoting the FAQ for Google's Page Speed Tool:

I changed my site! Why doesn't PageSpeed Insights see the new version?
PageSpeed Insights caches results for a short period of time. PageSpeed Insights should see any changes you've made within a few minutes. If you want instant analysis, please use the PageSpeed browser extensions.

They offer a free Chrome Browser Extension for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Hi not2easy

Thank you, but my questiion was about share42 rather than PageSpeed. What I would like to know is wether there is something in the scripy that forces immediate loading.
