Tweets from the other side

Let's talk about tweets from a different angle. Celebrities. Say I'm lucky enough to be Tom Cruise. Actually I don't look anything like Tom Cruise. He's got dark hair (smile). But say I'm Tom Cruise with a bazillion and one fans. And I don't want all bazillion and one them (well meaning of course) to tweet to me all at once, and traffic jam my page.

What do I do?

That is now Twitter works. You do not have to follow everyone who follows you, and if you do not follow them, you do not see what they tweet.

Of course you do see @mentions, but you do not have to look at those. If you are a verified user (i.e. a somebody) you can filter those.
