250 Million Tweets Per Day: Now What For Twitter? [news.cnet.com]
"We want to be part of the fabric over every communication in the world, and we think we can reach every person on the planet."

That goal, he said, makes Twitter distinct from what Facebook and Google+ is trying to achieve, which he described as social "as an end in itself."

250 million tweets a day is a lot, but doesnt facebook do something like 2 billion likes/comments per day, and 250 million photos a day.

"every person on the planet" that is optimistic.

That's a lot of tweets per day, the question is how can day convert it to dollars.
