Changing User Name

I was quite lates to twitter and someone took my domain name as their account. I did contact twitter but no luck.

I then registered a couple of accounts and started using one of them. I realise now that I should have started with the other.

Is there any way to transfer followers and listed to an account you already have but do not use?

I know you can do the auto transfer if you open a new account but I would like to transfer to my inactive account?

Any thoughts please?

delete the inactive account and then do the auto transfer when you immediately reopen it as a "new" account.
i haven't tried this recently so you may want to test this on a throwaway account to make sure the deleted account is immediately released and available to reregister.
