I am quite new to twitter, actually I just started to really use it a few days ago.
At first I only created an account to tweet new posts on my forum so people can keep up to date with new adsense optimization tips.
However after spending some time on twitter I think I like it even more.
I am currently trying to engage people talking about AdSense and providing help to them.
However the reason for this post is that I am not quite sure about the use of hashtags.
I mark all my Tweets that point to my forum with the #keyword hashtag to differentiate them from my normal tweets.
But when I write tweets to other people I also make keywords like AdSense, webmaster, vbulletin or such as hashtags.
My believe is that this will increase visibility to other twitter users.
Is that a misinterpretation?
The contra point to this is that some messages look really spamy when using several hashtags.
So this questions goes to more experienced twitter marketers/users.
How do you use hashtags?
