I see that ello has moved to v2.0 today. Anyone else using it?

I know a guy who uses it, I ignored the invitation though. I don't see a big future in a free version of FB. That stuff costs money to have functionality.

I had an account at the beginning. I got in, posted a few things and got bored. The friends I dragged along felt the same. No new posts in my stream for 6 months now. I'm not sure the cosmetic changes Ello is proposing for V2 are going to be enough to turn the tide.
It looks like a place where artists post pictures. I don't see any posts of much substance. Commenting is awkward in threads.
I'm all for a non-FB SNS, but this one won't have enough traction I fear.
