So I would like to no index some pages and not other in wordpress. The problem is that wordpress has one location for the header file. Does anyone know of a way around this?

I don't want to use robots disallow since it doesn't kick things out of the index.

Ideally I would like to no index the entire site except for a few select pages.

The way to index or no-index in WordPress is via plugins. I use Yoast's SEO plugin to index only one version of . That also means the un-indexed pages in /tags/ or /category/ which would be duplicate are not listed in the sitemaps.
