Search Engines Displaying wrong meta-description

Wordpress login error as description on non-WP pages

I have noticed that DDG, Bing and Yahoo (although never Google) occasionally display the "wrong" meta description for some of my pages.

I have a hand-coded site which also includes a Wordpress blog "bolted-on".

For some search queries DDG, Bing and Yahoo will display

as the meta-description for non-Wordpress pages.

I understand a page with this message is displayed on the WP admin login, but how does that affect the non-WP part of my site?
