Website verification.

"y_key" still needed?

I'm transferring a website to a new server and have found a file named "y_key_123456.html" in the website's root directory.

I also see a file named "google123456.html" in the root too.

I'm near positive the later is for google site verification.

I'm assuming the y_key if for Yahoo site verification but don't know, and don't know if it is still needed.

Additionally, is there yet a separate verification file needed for Bing?

Are there any other organizations the site should be "verified" with?

Yes, it's now (well, for at least months, maybe longer) been switched over to bing, so the "y..." key is now a unique "b..." key. I'm surprised I didn't see anyone else help you. HTH
