META Tag on Body not header

To avoid empty pages, I have a script that generates a noindex tag if no search results are found. However it puts the noindex no follow META tag in the Body, not header.

Will it work?

Since the HTML, HEAD, and BODY are all optional elements I would <i>guess</i> that it should work. Give it a try, tell us what you find out. ;)

Google is not picky about standards, it's very forgiving
