Perhaps someone could shed some light on my situation.
Pretty much my entire website has been indexed by Google, however only if you perform a site search minus www. i.e. site:example.com
However if I do a search for the domain name in quotes i.e. "example.com" there are only two or three results returned.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. That makes sense. Perhaps you could shed some light on the other issue I have.
Google has indexed my entire site without www. and it was only when I performed a site:examplesite.com search(omitting the www.) I realised this. I have since logged into my google account and changed the domain preference to www.examplesite.com but as yet nothing is showing as indexed with the www. It does state in googles notes that the next time page without the www. are crawled they will be indexed with www. Therefore, do I need to anything to resolve the issue or will google just take care of things over the next couple of weeks or so?
Many thanks.
