Hey, I'm running on a Geocities server and I want to use Server Side Includes. Does Geocities support PHP? Anyone?

No, you have to upgrade to their web hosting to get that or go else where, anyway, if you want to run a real web site it's better to get a domain name.

Well, I tried contacting them before through their customer service and all I got was that Geocites doesn't provide customer support for advanced scripts etc. (sigh)...
That doesn't mean they support php, it just means you can serve a file with a .php extension. ;)

then just slap up a phpinfo [php.net] page on your site and see
or throw an include in a file and see what happens.

If you want a web service that supports PHP through Yahoo!, you will have to go with their Standard plan in the business solutions hosting. Look at the following pages.
Oh, okay. Seems strange to allow you to serve a .php file without php support. ;)

wow, that stinks... I didn't really want to pay that much a month seeing as my site's fine right now and I paying a fraction of that. I guess I'll just have to go without sweet server side includes... Darn you Geocities. :(
