I'm looking for a web based PHP/Perl application that I could use to replace my email client - tall order but it's needed for my next adventure. Below is a kind of wish list does anyone know of something that comes close?

Or will I have to write my own ;)

(I found hundreds of scripts for logging in to servers etc but not really nothing quite good enough).

POP support, SMTP etc.
Multiple mail accounts. (my accounts have completely unmemorisable account names.)
MySQL - downloads messages from the server into a database (allows searching later with sql etc) optionally.
Contact management.
Domain level incoming mail blocking (spam blocking).
Attachments etc.

Security is quite key also - I have an https server that I will be using.

Basically a clone of outlook express - without the security holes - hopefully a bit better ;)

Cost is also key - the free-er the better.

Hope someone has seen something this good. I've been over hotscripts and sourceforge ... nothing leapt out as yet.

Thanks Chiyo - SquirrelMail looks really good. Only - it needs an IMAP mail server and I don't have one :(
