I'm looking for a search engine script or directory of listings for a portal that i'm designing. Like some I see have a voting capability where the site moves up if they get more hits.
Does anyone know where to find them and what's the best to use?

A lot of people (myself included) use Links 2.0 [gossamer-threads.com] from Gossamer Threads. It's free if you include a link to their site, or you can register to get rid of the link.
