I have recently setup Fedora 3 on an old box I pulled out of the closet. I have managed to get everything up and running with the exception that I cannot seem to get cgi running properly.

I keep getting the following error in my log.

Can't open perl script "\r": No such file or directory.

The file I am attempting to run is in "var/www/cgi-bin" and is named myTestStrict2.cgi. So, why is it looking for "\r"?

I had this script working flawlessly on my W2K machine, which makes me believe this to be a "permissions" problem. But, I am not positive. (I have chmoded the directory and the files inside to 755.) Thus, I seek the help of the fine folks at this board.

Maybe this is not the correct place for posting this problem. If not, my appologies.

Thanks,

You should probably post this in:
Linux, Unix, and *nix like operating systems [webmasterworld.com].
