I am assuming it is on someone else's site then.

If you don't have the password then you probably shouldn't be accessing it. To be honest, if they did their work correctly you won't be able to access it.

sorry for the communication gap. i have the user name and password, but i want to create my own interface for entering, editing the details - like adwords, overture accounts. but i'm facing a problem in understanding the cookies, memory pointers etc.

Please be assured that i'm not doing anything against TOS anywhere, i'm a beginner in this line and want to create my own interface for accessing and editing the 'https' pages.

any help would greatly be appreciated.
