Trying to emulate a slow server for script test

I'm trying to set up or find a slow server to test some code but can't. If I use a faux IP address it just drops it and if I use something non-existent the DNS hangs. I need a slow server. Any ideas?

I haven't had a chance to review LWP::Parallel; could you give us more information on what you're trying to do?

I'm trying to test whether timeouts really work properly with the script but at the same time incorperate data from other URLs besides the one that is timing out. I've figured out this problem. My mind was just a bit lazy yesterday.
