Hi,

Im a bit of a web creation newbie at the moment and am currently learning, dont let this put you off helping me as im a quick learner!

Basically I have an auction, classifieds and forum website script all rolled into one, but I dont know how to add subcategories to subcategories, i.e:

Automotive - Cars - Aston Martin.

For some reason the script only comes as 2 categories, the main page category and subcategory, i.e:

Automotive - Cars.

Ive been told I would need to add another background template to enable a third category how i want it, this includes both the auction and classified templates.

Could someone either do this for me and I will see what has been done so i know how to do it for next time or if someone could tell me exactly what i need to do with very simple guidelines that would be great.

Any help very much appreciated as ive been trying to get help and get this sorted for the past few days with no success, its driving me mad, my site will look really naff if i can only have the main category and sub-category.

Thanks!

There is no way anyone here can tell you had to add categories to an unknown script.

If you purchased this script you should asking the seller for support.

If you're looking to hire a programmer post a job in an appropriate forum.

Sorry, I'm not the forum greeter. If there is no jobs forum on webmaster world you can post on many other forums or freelance sites.

Hardly a reason to preclude civility, but that's just my opinion.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], gunnapaul2!

WebmasterWorld does have a Commercial Exchange Forum [webmasterworld.com], where a "Help Wanted" ad is appropriate, but one has to be a "Full" member before you can post in that forum. (Your membership level is decided by the number of posts you have, and posts in at least one forum - Foo [webmasterworld.com] - do not count.)

If you are willing to pay for a solution, you could post a message in the WebmasterWorld Community Center [webmasterworld.com] stating your interest and asking if a moderator or administrator would post in the Commercial Exchange for you.
