Has anyone found a script like this or have been able to get this to work?

I would like to be able to view websites lynx type text viewer on a website.
Thank you

It's not LYNX, but if you use FireFox and;
- Click "View"
- select "Page Style"
- select "No Style"

You'll see the page close to what the old LYNX browser displayed.

If that isn't what you want -- here's a link to something that might help.

How about this, it's an add on for Firefox:
Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer
"RightLynx displays a Lynx view of a web page via right-click or Tool menu..."

If you're using a machine w/Linux on it, you should be able to type something like -- 'links www.webmasterworld.com' in a terminal. This will render your page as text.
