SQL query to find empty fields

WHERE field = ''?

[moltar]

Can't figure out how to ask MySQL to give me all rows where field is empty.

I tried the following and had no luck:

SELECT *
FROM table
WHERE field = ''

and

SELECT *
FROM table
WHERE field = NULL

[woop01]

WHERE field IS NULL

[moltar]
