getting serious about learning perl

books, and or book recomendations?

I'm getting to the point where I have a compulsive need to have these books on hand...still learning, but I want to have plenty of references available.

I've got on hand right now:

Learning Perl,
Programming Perl,
Perl Cookbook

all by O'Reilly

Which others should I get? I've heard the little black book is good...and I saw one about mastering algorithms with perl, but I'm not sure I'll get that any time soon.

Oh, and I read some of a book dedicated to cgi.pm, but I should have read more of the perl stuff first. :)

Any help is as always greatly appreciated.

It's a get down and dirty kind of book. There isn't a lot of theory, but there is a ton of practical code examples.

The O'Reilly Nutshell book is good - it's got sections on all the major modules, syntax for each command etc

It's not a tutorial, but an excellent reference.
