SE friendly URLs in forum achieved!

Using a modified phpBB, but since phpBB uses session variables, and Googlebot doesn't eat cookies (right??), my script will append a sesid on to the URL.

Any tips on what to do? I can figure out the PHP and make it happen, but I'm not sure on what approach to use. Thanks, and I can also share how I did the mod if anyone is interested. Should rock hard if I can figure out the next simple step.
