Where are they?

Are there any detailed Regular Expression primers/tutorials online? The more extensive, the better. Also, it shouldn't be too difficult for beginners. Do any of these exist?

>exist

I've looked before, and if they're out there they certainly don't practice SEO. (Get your right-click ready, pop-ups galore!)

Ultraedit has a fair overview of RegExp in it's help files, I turn to that quite often.

Also, if you don't mind clicking around, you can always turn to the Perl or PHP manuals ;)
Extensive? Yes! :)

Offline, if you're learning perl try the Perl CD Bookshelf. It includes the Camel Book (Learning Perl) as well as the Perl Cookbook that has useful regex's.

A very good resource is O'Reilly's Mastering Regular Expression.

You'll have to pay for them, but like all O'Reilly books (is there a useless O'Reilly book??) they're worth their weight in gold...
