Handspring Adds Color Screen to Treo Handheld Family

Handspring Inc. on Tuesday unveiled two new models of its Treo family of handheld computers, each featuring color screens, aimed at customers on both the lower and higher end of the price scale.
Looks like it's time to get one now... since the prices on color ones have dropped off.

I wouldn't jump to fast. If you want to keep your existing cellular service, the new color Treo is going to set you back $700. That's steep!

I kinda like the low-end, PDA-only model... the built in keyboard would be nice. But I'm disappointed that they've ditched the springboard expansion system with the new line.
Either way, I still can't justify the expense of a color PDA. It would seem like buying a high-resolution calculator with multiple font settings...
