I have to agree with this. If you have a laptop, a PDA and a cell phone, do you need a wristwatch with appointment information?
Personally, I forsee as much success for wristwatch PDAs as wristwatch calculators enjoyed in their brief heyday. ;) The PDA/cellphone hybrids make much more sense.
... If they could only figure that last part out. Maybe a fold-out keyboard? voice recognition?
I don't know about voice recognition for a handheld type device. It would take people a while to get over the "dork taboo" of walking around talking to an inanimate object.
Then again, if it were a Treo/Nokia type cellphone based device, you could just pretend you were talking on the phone while you gave your dictation, I suppose...
If you have a wap phone, then you can communicate over the internet and by phone.
Yeah, those are very cool. But they are still not convenient. Not the ones I am familiar with, anyway.

I already do. It is great for paying for things, and keeping limited notes. But it cannot communicate with anyone in the world and display any piece of information I could find on the WWW. Oh, and putting a pen inside to write additional notes is a bad idea.
I'm talking about a "grab this and go" device, instead of remembering to get 3 different appliances.
You are right about the voice recognition, Mivox. I take that back :)
