How to connect one pc to another bia bluetooth

One is a tablet, the other a desktop (both XP)

How do I go about connecting my tablet pc to my desktop pc, via bluetooth, in order to use my desktops (wireless) internet connection?

My tablet seems happy to do anything I ask of it, but the desktop won't play ball. I've added in a basic bluetooth dongle to the desktop - and it can connect to my tablet or phone and use their services. However I can't get the desktop to GIVE any service back to them! The tablet pc finds the desktop - but tells me that its not providing any services. After several hours I'm still no closer to getting the desktop to allow the tablet to use its internet connection!

I'd be very grateful if anyone can talk me through this! And I'm not interested in solutions other than bluetooth (its a long story).

Ok i'm no pro but you should have to still set up a connection on the tablet, rather than just bluetoothing up and hoping the net works.

Create a new connection on the tablet and you should see options to use the bluetooth as the internet connection and probably have to add a few setting here and there.

A bit hard to get my hands dirty without knowing what kind of euipment you are using.
