Interesting EFF article: "Steve Jobs Is Watching You: Apple Seeking to Patent Spyware", (August 23rd, 2010).

Surely they can't get this one approved?

I for one will make sure I no longer by an Apple product if this goes through.

I've swore off Android due to Goofle's tight... ahem... "integration", which I view as spying. I thought I was safe with my iPhone, ha!

If this goes through I will not buy another iPhone, and my next computer will not be an Apple either. I would expect this kind of activity from Google, but not from Apple!

...the technology would allow Apple to record the voice of the device's user, take a photo of the device's user's current location or even detect and record the heartbeat of the device's user.

Scary stuff!
