Hewlett-Packard has killed off its much ballyhooed Windows 7 tablet computer, says a source who’s been briefed on the matter.

webOS is coming to a slate near you. Smart decision for HP. They get a beautiful OS with true multitasking and Linux base. Now they can start creating that eco system.

I can guess they are laying off Windows 7 tablet people as we speak and bringing in WebOS tablet people.

I won't buy one with WebOS, insufficient support, few apps, but I'd sure snap one up with Android on it.

HP can't be that naive...
