Has anyone used a Rangeroamer sim card before? I'm going to Italy and am thinking about getting one. Do they have good service? Can i get it before i leave? Id love to hear your experiences with this provider. :)

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Duckie92.

Never heard of it. Why not pick up a local SIM in the country you're visiting?

Duckie92, I've used Rangeroamer several times in the past in Europe and it has been consistently excellent. I've re-used their sim card in Turkey and Greece and France and the Uk, and on and on...

Lots of people buy local sim cards and they work out well too, but the big difference is that you won't know your phone number until you get there, and when you call back to the States using a Vodafone Italy sim card, for example, the rates are quite high...certainly higher than what I've been paying.
