Recommendations for secure wireless network

Looking to build a wireless network in the office and need some advice

I am looking to start building a new wireless network in our office in attempt to cut down on wiring and help out the several laptop users we have.

What are the major security flaws I should be looking out for?

Use MAC Filtering and a Wireless encryption. That's probably they strongest easiest way you can do it.

Change the AP's admin password from the default, change the AP SSID from the default, turn off AP SSID broadcast, use MAC address filtering and use the best encryption/security option your AP & wireless adapters can support.

That should give you a wireless network that's reasonably secure from random intrusion attempts (and free wifi moochers) although in theory it would still be possible to gain access given a sufficiently large effort.

To go beyond "just" security on the wireless hardware you'd need to start looking at running IPSec or VPN within your internal network so even if someone did breach the wireless security & encryption they'd just find another layer of encrypted data waiting for them.
