Sending ringtones from website to mobile phones

I'm just wondering what services people would recommend I check out - I'm needing something to send original ringtones to my users phones direct from my website?

Presumably I'd need some sort of agreement in place with a SMS gateway type of company?

Are there any free services out there? I saw one website called funformobile which claims to offer a script which you can add to your website, which can send to a bunch of US mobile phones networks... but presumably they must be grabbing all the phone numbers themselves in order to send them offers? Why else would they be offering a script/service like that?
