import handspring contacts to windows ce device

how do i do this?

hi all,
i've got a new windows ce device and i want to import the contacts from my old handspring (palm O/S) to it ... looks like it might be complicated so any suggestions?

i say complicated because:
1) different operating systems
2) the windows ce seems to be able to sync contacts only with outlook 2002 (do i HAVE to install this software?)
3) i exported my handspring contacts as a .ABA file but Microsoft Activesync doesn't seem to offer the option to import the contacts ... except from Outlook.

If my only option is to install outlook, that would really suck. I don't want that software on my PC :(

One way that some people have been able to sync data between the different systems is to upload the info to Yahoo from one device and then download it to the other device. Apparently it takes a few minutes to set up, but works pretty well. Good luck - let us know what you figure out.

thanks hawkgirl .. i'll definitely try doing that in a minute. i actually tried to beam the contacts from the older device (handspring) to the windows ce, but that wouldn't work either. for some reason, beaming from handspring to the ce doesn't work but from the ce to the handspring works fine. weird.
