P800, is it any good?

Looking for new Cell/PDA

Yeah am using P800 over last couple of Month and liked its PDA features,

However if you could raise your budget...P900 would be far better in terms of Design, handeling, Camcordar feature, Better software etc.

P800 sometimes hang and also there is no option to enable SMS recipt acknoledgement.

Camera is just Okay! with few adjustments like Brightness, contrast, backlight. etc.

I switched from a Nokia communicator to the Sony Ericsson - P800 about a year ago. As Wanna_Learn says the newer P900 is a slightly better and stirdier and has a "video cam".

If you do not break the keypad flip like I did, you might be a very happy user.
I especially like the synchronising with Outlook.

The moment Nokia comes with their new communicator later this year I think I will switch back though. Nothing beats a "real" keyboard.

If you are willing to spend a little more, I would definately suggest the P900. It has 65k color screen, a better OS.

Thanks all. Sounds like the P900 or wait for the Nokia. If I do with the P900, careful is the watch word on the flip down part.

Wait for the Nokia 9500 Communicator it is awesome has WiFi, camera and looks cool.

A friend of mine has a P900 and it is definatly worth the extra money the camera is respectable and comes in handy alot.

If you want a less common phone, one that people wont recognise and make nokia fans eat there handsets :p shak

try spv E200 distrobuted by uk company orange(.co.uk) they are tri-band of course so no problems where ever u live. Camera can handle photos and videos of high quality the phone runs windows smartphone 2003 you can listen 2 mp3s using it and also live streaming radio/video which is superb via the gprs internet access.
