Setting up a laptop for multiple locations

Internet connection, firewall issues etc.

Does anyone know how to set up a laptop so I can just plug into client networks, but also use my own cable connection when at home.

Ideally Id like a way of easily switching between these 3 setups:

1.Access web from home via cable modem/usb, using my own firewall.

2. Acces clients servers and web, from client premises, via network card, with my firewall disabled.

3.Access clients servers via VPN, from home - but using my cable/usb connection rather than dialup, firewall enableed.(Nice to have but not essential)

Does anyone know how I can do this or any software that can do it?

Hi,

Im using win2kpro on a toshiba satellite pro4600.

So far the options are to try netswitcher, or set up another profile in hardware profiles - though i been told that niether of these will work!

Any ideas?
