Looking for any advice/reccomendations for my travels to France.
What I need is an internet connection in order to be able to use SSH and a web browser. I have a laptop but it has no IR, and a Nokia 8310 which will handle IR and GPRS on a UK account with the network T-Mobile.
I did try to speak to T-Mobile about this but the woman couln't seem to figure out that I didn't want to do 'picture messaging' and kept trying to tell me I couldn't.. but that's a whole other story!
The way I see it.. options are:
- Nokia Communicator (SSH? No GPRS?)
- USB IR port for the lappy..
- A GPRS card for the lappy..
Couldn't get a straigt answer from T-Mobile as to whether GPRS is even up and running in France :(
I think the GPRS card seems like the best bet.. would appreciate any advice.
