Test WEP?

Is it possible to test to see if WEP is working? If so how?

I tested my firewall and everythign is secure but not sure about WEP.

Try to sniff some traffic, using i.ex. Kismet or similar tools on a laptop, and see if it's encrypted or not :)

But be aware, WEP _isnt_ secure [it _is_ crackable, see Airsnort..], so dont rely 100% on this for your security.

I mispoke, I am not using WEP for "security," have a firewall for that. I want to see how it works. Are you saying try using a 2nd laptop to sniff?
