Palm will buy handspring

$169 million sounds a little cheap to me.....these guys were obviously not up to competing.....enjoy the beach:)

Well the guys who started Handspring also started Palm if i don't remember wrong, then 3Com bought Palm and they didn't like how things where going so they started another one, there is a video clip somewhere on Stanford.edu about it.

Yep; That's the way it happened.

It's amazing that Handspring was able to do as well as they did... Every Handspring they sold meant money for both Handspring and Palm since Handspring was forced to license the OS from Palm.
