Any book on SEO is obsolete by the time it hits the shelves IMHO. WebmasterWorld is the dynamic manual fo pro SEO. Everything you need is right here.

Just come here to browse and take part in the discussions. Also, sign up for search engine related newsletters. There are also some good tutorials on the web.

Books are just too out of date for this industry as things change on a weekly basis at least.

Hello,

Sorry to bud in, but I see all this in the message boards about "SEO", what exactly is it you're refering to?

SEO is search engine optimization, which is constructing web pages so that they can rank well and be easily found at search engines by potential searchers looking for what the page is about.

BryceSED, when you run across any mystic looking term, try the glossary: - [webmasterworld.com...] (exscept for "widgets", which is a generic term for a specific product/keyword)

Navdeep, also look in a couple more forums. There are a few good ones too, just to give an another perspective. Newsletters to keep in with the current trends :)
