Hey Morron,

Welcome to Webmaster World.

I'm not sure what I can do to help, but you can sticky mail if you wish.

Why isn't Brett's "12 month guide to a succesful site....." linked to from the parent navigation of WW?

I can never find it when it's needed...... and it's needed at least once a week.

<edit>ah, found it</edit>

Start here Morron:

[webmasterworld.com...]

90% of what you need to know. The remaining 10% comes from listening, contributing and asking questions.

trillianjedi, I flagged the thread and put a link to the flags pages at bottom of every pages by adding stuff in the "Custom Code Insert Bottom" field of the "System Preferences" page. Very handy.

MacGuru - my 255 characters (or whatever the limit is) is all used up!

I have bookmarked it now in the browser anyway.

I still feel it's the starting point for anyone new, which is why I feel there is a need for a kind of "start here" library (static, unlike the current library which is useful, but still too fast a mover).

Yep, several thousand of them! Grab a cup of coffee (make it a large) and start reading through all of the older threads here at WebmasterWorld.com. All of the information you need to know to become an excellent web developer are right here.

Welcome!

Hawkgirl I'll second that sentiment as I am a new one to the forum today.

It is amazing what I have found already!

Trillian Jedi (Nice alias - why?) That thread is just What I was looking for. Now I have to update the business plan I have added to the forum earlier today.

Thanks
